It felt horrible to leave all three boys at home when I’d to go to the office last week again. M is working in the afternoons while I work in the mornings. It works pretty well surprisingly. M is doing a great job with handling Theo and Ecky which means I don’t have to worry that M and Ecky are taking a nap while Theo is crying that his face is all pink. No, not at all. 🙂
I invited myself to our dear neighbors I and B for coffee. I’ve had a craving for a piece of cake and a good chat. Though I thought maybe they have time. And they had. 🙂 I prepared my mums nut cake with half walnuts and half almonds and half of a dark chocolate easter bunny. Then I took Theo on my arm, Ecky’s leash and a plate with cake in my hand and swaggered to the neighbors. B had prepared a nice coffee with a pinch of cacao, I snuggled with Theo and showed me pics of their kids and grand kids. The time went by in a blink and I look forward to the next time.
Picture of the nut cake is inside of you: imagine a very fluffy crumb with a chew to the nuts and almonds, not too sweet though 8)
At the weekend we had several visitors. First our Indian friends with their almost 2-year old daughter. She’s talking, mixing English words she has heard somewhere together with Hindi and don’t dare not to understand her. 8) Theo got two silver wristbands from them. He looks very cute with them. And Ecky was fed well by the daughter. She shared everything with him: potato bread, honey cake and cookies. Do you know who Ecky’s best friend is, right?!
And then yesterday our friends I & J with Lexie aka lille neger’n and H came for breakfast. M prepared waffles and we had a nice breakfast. Aunty I kidnapped Theo out of his chair at one point and snuggled with him holding him on her chest.
Breads, rye bread with hemp seeds and potato bread with raisin called Kastenpickert
Theo has started to show his own personality: skepticism and stubbornness. He knows very well what he wants and what not like I want this boob now and that I lost it out of my mouth wasn’t my fault. Give it back! I’m wondering from whom he has gotten this feature. 😉
